This policy explains how the MuscleKeep app ("MuscleKeep", "we", "us") handles your information. The short version: your health data and photos stay on your phone.

Information that stays on your device

Everything you enter in the app is stored only on your iPhone, including your medication, doses, injection sites, weight, waist, protein, workouts, how you feel, and your progress photos. We do not have servers that receive this information, and we cannot see it.

Because it is stored on your device, deleting the app or using Plan › Reset all data permanently deletes it. Your device's own backups (for example iCloud Backup, if you have turned it on) may include app data according to Apple's settings.

Camera and motion sensors

The camera is used only when you take weekly check-in photos. Motion sensors are used only to show whether your phone is level while taking those photos. Neither is used for anything else.

Notifications

Reminders (check-in, shot day, protein, trial ending) are scheduled locally on your phone. You can turn them off at any time in iPhone Settings.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives purchase information from Apple and an anonymous app user ID; it does not receive your health data or photos. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your information.
• We don't use advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
• We don't require an account or login.

MuscleKeep is for tracking and education only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or give dosing advice. Always follow your prescriber.

Children

MuscleKeep is intended for adults and is not directed to children.

Your choices and rights

Because your data is stored on your device, you control it directly and can delete it at any time. If you have questions about your privacy, including under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), contact us.

Changes

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the date above.
